We have a routine.
On Monday and Thursday the Littles
and the Middles...
bring the dirty laundry out to the garage
(hot hot hot in Summer
bitter cold in Winter
with very little in-between)
where they sort it into:
whites
darks
and
lights.
Laundry is a lesson in:
art - (colors)
math - (division, grouping)
science - (texture, fabric type, stain type, heat)
chemistry - (soaps, bleaches, oxygen cleaners, properties of water, chocolate and mud)
and if I wait too long
to fold clothes,
its a great lesson
